Our personal message:

Thank you for taking the time to visit our fund raising site

On Saturday 8th March, a whole bunch of Cadets from Yorkshire (N&W) Army Cadet Force and their instructors took part in the Commando Challenge, a seven mile (mostly up hill) run, carrying weighted rucksacks in the Spean bridge area of Scotland.

The run was in aid of St Dunstan's, a charity which supports blind and partially sighted ex-servicemen and women of the British forces.  Helping them maintain their independence.  The team actually had the Privilege of running with one of these blind members, an ex-soldier who unfortunately lost his sight during an RPG blast in Iraq.

To show your support for the team and the amazing work of St. Dunstan's all we ask is that you donate as much as you can afford.  All funds will be gratefully received and put to work in helping these people.
