Matt Wilson, Aleister Hellier and Chris Green - Team Hairylegs.

We are taking part in the Mongol Rally 2009; a crazy adventure starting on the 19th July 2009 from Hyde Park in London across the world to Ulan Bataar - the capitol of Mongolia... all in a VW Polo.

Our goal is not just to make it to the finish line, but to raise as much money for charity, cause as much trouble, and have as much fun as 3 guys can do.

Our route to Mongolia isnt the simplest, we will start off by hopefully managing to get our trusty steed from Brighton to Hyde Park in London so we can participate in the 5,000 strong launch party, and from there it seems to be a lot simpler.

First we head into France, where we head north into Germany, hoping to take our mean machine around the Nürburgring. If we manage to survive that, the plan is to head south into the Czech Republic for the Czech-out Festival which is the final checkpoint for the rally, from then on we are all alone... leaving the Czech Republic we will head into Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Russia, Azerbajan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan (high five), back into Russia, into Mongolia and then across the Gobi Desert toward Ulaan Bataar.
