My story

Dear All,

After a couple of attempts at trying to get into the London Marathon, I finally made it. This time seems more appropriate than ever as I have chosen to run for the Prostate Cancer Charity.

Just over a year ago, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. It was a shock to everyone, but especially me as I never thought that the man I have always looked up to could be affected, humbled and scared in such a big way. However, so far so good as he is currently in remission and all post operation tests have been as good as they can be.

So.... I  wanted to try and raise awareness and funds for the Charity as a way of saying thank you for all the help and support my family got. I will be grateful for whatever you can donate and I am hoping to try and complete the 26.2 miles in less than four hours. Bear in mind that the last time I went running in London I was being chased by Millwall fans so this time is bound to be more enjoyable!!

One final thing....... should I get over 50 individual online donations of  £15 or more, I have agreed  to do a four mile run around my home town in just my underpants, video evidence will be provided.

IF YOU DECIDE TO SPONSOR ME, PLEASE INCLUDE WITH YOUR DETAILS A GUESS AT MY ESTIMATED FINISH TIME IN HOURS, MINUTES AND SECONDS. THERE WILL BE A MYSTERY PRIZE FOR THE WINNER!

Thanks in advance of your support

Conrad
