The Railway Children - Three Peaks Challenge by Rail · 10 July 2008 to 12 July 2008 ·

Railway Children has a vision of a world in which no child is lost to the streets. Across the UK, India and Tanzania, our networks provide an opportunity for us to reach children who are alone and vulnerable before they come to serious harm. Together, we’re determined we’ll leave no child behind.

Hi
Thanks for visiting our page.

Please let us introduce ourselves. We are four Contract Managers working in the railway industry.
Eoin, David and Bob work for Network Rail.  Martin left Network Rail in January and now works for Westinghouse.

The idea for us taking part in this event was a conversation between David and Bob about getting old and not being fit enough.  We therefore decided that this was just the right sort of challenge to get us fit again.  Finding two more (willing) volunteers was easy and Eoin and Martin have now joined us.

The three peaks challenge calls for us to climb Snowden, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis over a two day period, the main transport between these mountains is via train.

Please donate your hard earned cash, it will go to a good cause.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: The Railway Children will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

David, Eoin, Martin and Bob
