Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. A while ago I watched a film called "We Are Together" on t.v. I was moved to tears by the courage and spirit of the children at the Agape orphanage in South Africa. It inspired me to go there as a volunteer in February 2010. My life has been enriched by all the wonderful children I have worked with and I hoped I could give something to the children at Agape. The children raise money by singing - please go to the www.wearetogether.org website and listen to them. They are brilliant. You can also go to the www.be-more.org website to find out all about Agape and the project there. Be careful though or you'll end up volunteering! I volunteered to give whatever help I could....are you willing to give a donation to help these children?
My stay at Agape was an amazing experience. I was overwhelmed by the children's determination to overcome all their difficulties and make the most of their education. I desperately want to go again and put in place some long-term help with nutrition and health issues. I need every penny I can get to organise the sort of help these children deserve.
