My story

Thank you for visiting The Cops That Drop  fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Well we did it and what an experience!! The feeling of freefall is undescribable especially if your name is Kevin and you manage to get an extra freefall in after the main parachute fails!!!!

We would like to say a big thank you to all at Drop Zone Hinton who were brilliant and all our supporters on the day.

A HUGE thank you as well to all of you that have so kindly donated money and time to our cause - so far we have raised nearly £7,200, nearly a third of our target £25,000

We drew the raffle after the excitement of the parachute Jump and Kevin's aerobatics and the winners are listed below. They will be contacted individually very soon.

1st  Chris Heaver, 2nd Helen Fletcher, 3rd Mryna Guy, 4th G Humphrey, 5th Kev Weston .

Our next event is The Bupa Great South Run where 11 Police officers and support staff members will trudge the 10 mile course on 28th October 2007.

Inspired by the courage and determination of DC Tina BRAIDEN in her fight against cancer, 8 of her colleagues from the Major Crime Branch of Sussex Police will perform a small act of bravery in honour of the huge bravery that is constantly shown by cancer sufferers and their loved ones. On Monday 27th August 2007 at Drop Zone Hinton, Northamptonshire they will throw themselves out of an aircraft 2 miles above the ground and plummet to earth at 125 miles an hour! All this to heighten awareness of the effects of this disease whilst raising £25,000 for the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital.

All of us know somebody whose life has been affected by cancer. This is your opportunity to make a difference to someone who will battle with this disease in the future.

With your donation we can make a difference!
