The Smiley Steps Centre is inspired by the theory and practice of Conductive Education, it helps children with cerebral palsy and similar motor disorders achieve to their full potential, however great or small.

Our educational programmes can meet the needs of children with:-

Cerebral palsy or other motor disorders

Genetic disorders resulting in motor impairment

Motor impairment that results from head injury

The fundraising team needs to raise over £300,000 per year to keep the centre running in order to make it easier for the children to enjoy physical activity as part of their daily lives.

The Centre’s approach is positive and pro-active.
