Ever sat there and thought what can I do to raise some money for a good cause and also do something to challenge your body and mind to its limit!!! Well that's what we have done.
The Marathon des Sables (MDS) is a 243km extreme race across the Sahara desert. The equivalent of 5 and a half marathons in 7 days in temperatures of up to 120 degrees C. It is fully self sufficient and we have to carry everything we need apart from water and a tent on our backs for the duration. That is why it is known as the toughest footrace on earth.
