-------------------------------------------------------------UPDATE----------------------------------------------------------------------
I did it! Thank you so much to everyone who donated their 'hard earned' to a great charity. I
managed to get round in 2h13m53s (it would have been a bit less had I not stopped to pose
for the photograph on your left just before the finish line) which isn't too bad for a fat bloke
who had neither the time nor the inclination to train for it.
Thanks again!
CraigThanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
As most of you know, my Mam lost her husband, Ronnie, to cancer less than 2 years ago. My chosen charity, Coping with Cancer North East, help those who suffer from loss as a result of cancer.
With my usual amount of training (a 5 mile run the week before and a big bowl of tagliatelle the night before), I'm running the Great North Run again this year. If I manage to make it in less than 2h 30m I'll be more than happy. In fact, if I make it without medical assistance, I'll be over the moon.
Please help support Coping with Cancer North East with whatever you can afford.
Thank you.
Craig :)
