Please find below details which I hope you'll find interesting: so much so, you'll feel able to support us in our challenge. Charity Cycle ride from Edinburgh to London October 2009
In October 2009, a team of 4 cyclists and 2 support team members will make their way from Edinburgh Castle to London. The 700 km journey will be made in 5 stages encompassing stays in: Newcastle, Thirsk, Doncaster, Leicester, and Oxford. Throughout, the team will engage in a number of charity and public relations initiatives.
Our aim is to provide an opportunity to participate in an arduous and challenging experience to fundraise for Cancer Research UK. Our goal is to raise approximately £3000. The team is composed of four cyclists of whom one is Contract Manager at Edinburgh Castle and former RAF Regiment Gunner, two serving RAF personnel and one former police officer, now solicitor. The support team are a serving Royal Air Force logistician and a Compass Group Senior Food Services Manager for Scotland.About the Charities
