Me (M):Yep I am. Its the Reading Half Marathon on the 21st of March.
Y: Haha.
M: Don't laugh fat people have feelings too. They are just covered up more
Y: OK sorry. But really? DO you know how far it is?
M: Yes, yes I do. I tried one about 18 months ago. I was dreadful at it and really didnt enjoy it.
Y: But you are going to do it again! Do you not like yourself?
M: Good question. Not really the time to answer that.
Y: Have you seen a doctor about this?
M: What about doing things to myself that I dont enjoy, or the health implications of running.
Y: Er the running
M: nah it will be fine. what's the worst that can happen?
Y: A heart attack?
M: hmm, nah it will be ok. anyway it's for a good cause.
Y: The British Heart Foundation?

M: I've just given you a link go have a look, but basically they help our sick and disabled kids. and what could be more worthy that that?
Y. That seems like a good cause.
M: It doesn't seem like a good cause, it IS a good cause. So are you going to sponsor me?
