Hey guys and girls!
I have decided to do a sponsored sky dive for the Bone Cancer Research Trust next year in JUNE. Many of you who visit this site will know about the legend that is Tom Walker and as a friend of his, I have chosen this charity in his honour. Tom suffered from a rare bone cancer called Osteosarcoma, and unfortunately lost his brave battle with the condition in February of 2008. He was undoubtedly one of the most loved students at Burleigh Community College that I have ever, and will ever know. The opportunity to raise money for a charity that deals with all sorts of bone cancers (including the rarest such as the one Tom had) is one which I have always wanted to do and here is my effort now.
My target is initially £400 for the skydive as a tandem with an instructor diving with me.. HOWEVER... as an extra insentive to raise as much money as possible, IF WE REACH £650 I WILL BE DOING THE SKYDIVE SOLO!!!
Following this, I have decided that if we can push the total up to at least £1000, then I will have my BUTTOCKS (yes!) tattooed with the most hilarious and embarrassing suggestion from somebody who donates to the cause!
This is to give the fundraising event a fun twist, get you all involved and to get as much money as possible through my pain and humiliation! Any suggestions will be taken into consideration, from a pornographic sketch, to the letter W on each cheek! (Think about it!) Suggestions for other body parts that are more easily seen will also be considered.. except my face! So hit me with all possible suggestions on 07584 577 245. I know and can appreciate that times are hard when it comes to money but if you can please dig deep for a great cause and for many of you, an unforgettable friend's honour in the form of Tom Walker, it would be greatly appreciated :)
