Hi all,
In June of this year you will see myself and 3 friends kayak the length of the River Thames, ride in the London-Brighton cycle race and cross the English Channel to France by tandem kayak; a total distance of 270 miles.
Despite the small matter of serious chafing, blisters, numb bum, sleepless nights camping, hill climbs and getting mown down by super tankers in the worlds busiest shipping lane, we will try and undertake 3 seperate trips over 3 continous weekends with the aim of raising as much money as we can for charity while having a bit of fun and challenging ourselves physically and mentally.
Of course we are not undertaking this trip simply to satisfy my tightness of paying ferry fees but to raise money for The Prostate Cancer Charity. We would like our trip to raise money and create awareness for a much more under-stated cancer.
