This year we have chosen a local charity designed to help young people who may be restricted finacially to reach their potential in sports and performing arts.
Emma's Trust was established in 2005 following the sudden & tragic death of teenager Emma Curtis-Smith who after a severe asthma attack suffered a collapsed lung and heart failure.
Emma's Trust is intended to help young people who are interested in sport & the performing arts. The trust has awarded thousand of pounds to local youngsters, helping then with training, extra tutoring, equipment and expenses.
Emma's Trust actively supports asthma research and 10% of all donations goes to asthma UK.
