Story
Right troops. With your help, I am aiming to raise £5000 for Walking With The Wounded, a charitable organisation dedicated to retraining our injured and medically discharged service personnel. It's an awful lot of money, but not an arbitrary sum. £5000 is the cost the charity associates with retraining one injured soldier, so every penny raised is making a direct and tangible difference.
To encourage you to part with your hard earned cash, between January and the end of September I will be visiting the 100 Crossfit affiliates in the UK, rowing the height of Kilimanjaro (5895m) at each box, culminating in a climb of Kilimanjaro in October - 589,500m rowed in total. As an added sweetener, I will ask each Crossfit affiliate to set me a workout to be completed at open gym back in Leeds. I'll also be giving up smoking as it's hardly conducive to completing the above!
I am self funding my tour of the UK and Kilimanjaro trip so 100% of all donations go directly to Walking With The Wounded
