Living in Beckton the last 2 decades without having access to basic education for children and adults has been very difficult. 1st 4 Education’s primary objective is to equip the local residents with beneficial knowledge and produce individuals with sound understanding. Today that vision is becoming a reality through your generous donations and support.

1st 4 education is based in Beckton; an area which is deprived from religious education. Alhamdulillāh we are currently providing classes for children and adults at a community centre. We are struggling with paying rent and other expenses that are vital for the running of this noble cause.

We do not have a regular income or funding, we solely operate on the donations and support of parents and well-wishers.

As you are aware that Islām gives the highest importance to the acquisition of knowledge. In fact, the first revelation that Allāh tala has revealed to his Prophet (saw) for the guidance of mankind pertains to reading.

We should, therefore, spend time, effort, money and other resources to make sure that the knowledge of Islam is being sought.

 Donating to such a place will count as sadaqah jāriyah (ongoing charity).

Therefore it is highly recommended for a Muslim to increase his monetary ‘ibādah throughout the month of Ramadān, because giving sadaqah during the month of Ramadan is better than giving sadaqah at other times.
