    Story

On 27th August late in the evening the 2nd Beccles Scout hit was broken into and most of the equipment was stolen. The items stolen range from archery equipment, tents, camping equipment and much more used to enrich out childrens lives. We are looking for donations to replace these items no matter how small.

The leaders at 2nd Beccles put there own time and effort to provide a safe and educational environment for our children so please help is to help them develop our children by giving whatever you can to replace stolen items.

I spent several happy years as a cub and scout with 2nd Beccles back in the 50s, a Queen scout in about 1958, and helped to build the scout hut when we moved from Hungate Lane. Good luck.

Read about the theft of the Scouts' equipment in the Advertiser. Being in the Scouts was very beneficial for me when I was young. I am pleased to contribute to help the Beccles scouts in a small way

Good luck with fund raising. I well remember 60 yrs. ago when our Scout hut was deliberately set ablaze. Pleased that all my grandchildren belong to the Scout movement.
