Story
At the beginning of 2018, 2nd Frimley (Kenya) Cub pack started a penpal exchange with Pack 208 in Bartonville, Illinois (USA) to make new friends and to find out more about Scouting in America.
Due to the great success of this venture, we are planning a visit to the USA in October 2020 to meet our American friends and to have an international camp with them. For a lot of our Cubs, this will be a one-off experience and a great opportunity for them to see how Scouting differs from that in the UK.
However, to get us there we need to raise funds ourselves, so on 21st July 2019, we will be climbing to the top of the O2 arena. For one of us (Rita) this is a challenge and a half as she is petrified of heights!

5 years agoJust over a week to go now, until we head off to scale the dizzy heights of the O2 arena. Thank you to all who have donated so far, we appreciate your support. Let’s just hope we have reasonable weather and that it’s not too windy at the top!
