Story
We are a local Scout Group based in Uddingston and with a reletavely large Elderly population within our Community. There are not any local AED's (Automated External Defibrillators) available that can be accessed in a short time in the event of a community member or visitors medical emergency.
We would like to raise £1400 to be able to purchase a Public Access Defibrillator in our Community. If we succeed in raising the money to purchase an AED we will be looking at organising and running AED and CPR training to anyone who would like to learn a new skill which will help save lives.
We hope by having an AED available we can help to save lives within our Community.
