We are 3 nurses from QEUH, 2 of us are based in PDRU and 1 in Neuro HDU,
We are trying to raise funds to pay our flights to South Africa in January 2019, where we have agreed to volunteer in a medical centre for 2 weeks.
Being nurses we are hoping to take our skills abroad and help support our South African colleagues.
We are so fortunate in this country to have such a fantastic NHS, so to go to a country that isn't as fortunate, allows us to give back.
We also hope to learn some new work and life skills, That we can bring back to our working lives here in Glasgow.
This is a completely self funded experience so we really need all the help we can get, anything you can contribute big or small will all be gratefully received and go a long way to help us reach our goal.
