I have the privilege to be selected as Captain of the Women o/30 England Indoor Cricket Team. In October we will be competing in the Masters Series Wold Cup, hosted by South Africa in the beautiful Cape Town.

The team consists of a fantastic group of hardworking women with a passion for the game and for their country.

Competing in the World Cup is completely self funded by the individual players, showing the commitment they each have to represent their country.

...which is why I want to show the same commitment back to them by taking on a challenge of my own to raise funds, which I hope will help each and every one of them.

I COMMIT TO DOING 50 BURPEES A DAY, EVERY DAY, FOR THE WHOLE OF APRIL!

If you have ever done burpees, you would know that it's quite a tough challenge that I have taken on, so I am aiming to raise a minimum of just £10 a day (come rain, hail, or (hopefully) sunshine).

£300 would pay for our warmup games before the World Cup and our much needed physio supplies. ...But that’s only the beginning, so anything over the target amount would definitely be appreciated!

**Funds raised would go the the whole team and therefore contribute to everybody.
