Weʼve raised £2,853 to help my husband Andrew Bradley who has MS to drive again. We need this money to put towards an adapted car. Until then, he can't drive.

Story
My husband was diagnosed with MS in February 2008. He was a very keen cyclist and loves his cars, as his friends and family know!
Since his diagnosis we have had two children who are 3 and 4 years old. Over the last few years his condition has deteriorated significantly. He has gone from being a police traffic officer to desk working. He is reliant on his car to keep his independence.
On 4th August 2016 he was told by the DSA that he couldn't drive until he had an adapted vehicle. He is finding this very difficult to come to terms with as his mobility deteriorates. He is confined to a power wheelchair and requires a vehicle where he can drive from his wheelchair. He also requires a joystick steering system which costs £40,000 alone. In order to get this vehicle we have to pay a certain amount towards the adapted vehicle. We have been informed it will be a minimum of £10,000. Unfortunately we don't have this kind of money. I am looking for support from family and friends to help raise as much money as they can towards this goal. I'm organising a one day 100 mile bike ride to help raise money and I know other friends are organising events to help, including a golf challenge arranged by Paul Hutchinson.
We would be ever so grateful if we could gain the support from family, friends and colleagues to help raise as much money as we can to help Andrew remain as independent as he can and to try and live as normal a life as he can. We really do appreciate all the support we have received so far.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
