    Story

    1. About Coexist House
Recognising the urgent need to improve understanding of religion in the UK and beyond, the University of Cambridge, the City of London Corporation, the V&A, the Inner Temple and the Coexist Foundation, have come together to create Coexist House – a leading global centre, based in London, for transforming public understanding about the practices and perspectives of the world’s religions. In doing so, Coexist House will promote better, more peaceful relationships. It has been created with a vision of a world with greater religious understanding, achieved through a better and deeper level of education surrounding the world’s faiths.

Coexist House will be an active learning institution, open and accessible to all, and will contain a visitor centre, a museum, an exhibition space, a media and online learning centre and spaces for conferences, meetings and cultural activities. Programmes for Coexist House will be geared towards enhancing the National Curriculum, and will reach out to school children and teachers around the country.

It will have a significant global impact in helping people to better understand and celebrate religious and cultural differences through the development and provision of wide reaching and engaging educational activities based at the centre.
