    Story

Hello I'm David, and I am registered blind and both a client and a Board member of the DeMontfort Talking Books Service based in Warwickshire. This is a free service, entirely run by volunteers, providing audio books for all those in the county and across its boundaries who can no longer physically read and enjoy a book.

I am walking the South Downs Way in Sussex from the coast at Seven Sisters to Winchester this June with friends, all 106 miles of it. I need your encouragement of donations to walk each and every mile so that others can also enjoy the simple pleasure of a good book. Any help would be gratefully accepted. Our target is to buy at least 50 new titles to expand our new growing collection of audio books on MP3 memory sticks. Thanks for any donations, it all helps. David

Hello, now back and rested, at least my feet have stopped complaining now! Here are a few of the many photos I shall upload from the South Downs Way Walk, 1 of the whole team of us, the others taken on the first day along the Sussex coast by friends. Thanks for all donations , we are slowly making our way to a worthwhile total, I'm so grateful to all for all your help. It will make a big difference to all who use the service. Demontfort Dave
