    Story

On Tuesday evening 28th of March 2017 a fire ripped through and destroyed the home of Pat and Roy McClymont. Pat and Roy are members of Ottery St Mary Parish Church. They are Christians who have always selflessly helped others and the community. We need to help them now. We cant replace the memories or emotional things they have lost but we can help them build a new life. Please give whatever you can afford. EVERY PENNY MATTERS!

Just a note to say this is our final update. I have just had a followup conversation with Clarissa Place from the Sidmouth Herald. She'll be posting a thank you online asap and also an encouragement that it's not too late to donate. We spoke of the enormity of what 31 people have done in just one month. That's over £116 per day which is an amazing effort. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will be closing the fundraising page this evening and will be passing on all your wonderful sentiments prayers and thoughts to Pat and Roy. Thank you again

4 days to go and we've managed to hit £3500. Thank you to ever single one of you contributors. The fire on Woodbury Common yesterday was a stark reminder of it's sudden and indiscriminate nature. We are one month on from the devastating events of that night. I hope that this small amount, in the general scheme of things, will go a little way to ease the journey to a better future.

Happy Easter to all. Just 12 days of the appeal to go. Final push to raise as much as we can to help Pat and Roy rebuild their lives. If it's a pound then put it in. Every little bit counts xx Thank you
