    Story

I will be running the Purple Wave of the Manchester 10 K as the University bee mascot to raise money for Lemn Sissay's Christmas Dinner. The Christmas Dinner takes place on Christmas Day, and it is for care leavers between the ages of 18 and 25. It started in Manchester 2013; then Manchester and London in 2014; Manchester, London and Leeds 2015; and Manchester, Leeds, London, Liverpool and Oxford in 2016. It works largely becasue of the generous and dedicated volunteers, but a bit of extra money always comes in handy. Find out more at: http://www.lemnsissay.com/projects/?p=94

Just saw the poster on your office door. Did you really run in the bee outfit? I'm impressed. And for a great cause too.
