At the end of September 2016, at the age of 38 my nephew Adam took his own life, leaving behind three young sons and grieving parents Alison and Mike. To highlight the struggles that often go unnoticed in society when men, in particular, cannot find the words or help they need, we are walking 40 miles in the lead up to what would have been Adam's fortieth birthday. All money raised will go equally to three charities that either helped Adam's family or have the capacity for supporting those in similar needs or young families benefit from sharing time together outside.
