    Story

    Im doing a fundraising for the neonatal unit in leeds and halifax so here goes i had my twins identical at 28 weeks 12 weeks early due to problems with twin 2 korey and cody were born at 28 weeks old born via emergency c section my babys were taken straight from me literally seconds after birth i didnt get to meet my babys till 6-7 hours old we was told the first 24 hours were fatal and wasnt sure they would both live fast forwarding 5 weeks on cody my smallest of the twins at 1 pound 9 was moved from bradford to halifax little did i know within hours of turning up at halifax would my life turn for the worst my little boy was rushed to leeds childrens hospital where he would be undergoing surgery for suspected nec from him been on vapour therm to an oxcila breathing machiene to go been rushed straight to thearte for surgery would have 60 percent of his bowels removed and his appendix to think he couldnt make the surgery let alone him making it to leeds n the ambulance i ure did have a fighter anyways my boy went down for a second surgery due to him deteriating fast been rang at early hours saying they think my not wouldnt make it and to our surprise he did he mde it through two lots of surgery he then eneded up deteriating even wuicker having septicimia in his blood and bleed to his brain and a left lung colapse my boy carried onfighting literally leeds went so far to help my boy untill their was nothing more to help him the strongest antibiotic didnt work and the horrible diease nec took my boys life at 6 weeks old korey was transferred to halfax for the next 8 weeks of his life and the neonatal nurses of halifax took precaution witheverything knowing his little brother had passed away and at 1 week over his due date he came home throughtout my journeys between leeds and halifax the nurses and staff of both halifax and leeds couldnt help me enough thy made it that tiny bit easier for me understood everything and they didnt some beautiful things to help koreys stay that little bit easier korey and cody had never met each other in person and you know the staff at leeds and halifax made me feel apart of them i am raising funds for both leeds and halifax because if it wasnt for them my little boy korey wouldnt be here today and they tried their very best to keep cody my little bot alive but some things wernt ment to be im doing a 15 miles walk in order of this fundraising this will help parents who will are struggling just lie i did in neonatal
