What were thinking..... Shropshire Mud Run ... how hard can it be!!!!So, that’s 6 miles of mud, mess and running, clambering with every strength we have just to go shoulder deep in mud. How hard can it be. This is going to hurt, we going to have tears, we going to regret committing to this. So just consider I will be doing probably over 50 miles in the training for this event. I will be at risk of dissolving in pond water in preparing for the swim. (Thanks to Soph) I will wear out multiple pairs of trainers, lots of sets of tyres, gears, clothes, pants and myself in the process. All of this is made worthwhile when considering the work that Young People First do to help people lead the lives they wish. Based solely in Staffordshire, they help Children, teens and young adults in the county. How your fundraising will support young people:£10 could fund a half hour chat with our helpline status.£270 could pay for a youth club to run for two months, helping young people get there lives on track. £450 could support 15 young people to gain the qualifications they need to get work. £1,500 could allow 1-1 sessions with a therapist to those kids who struggle with mental health. Through Go Fund Me, you can sponsor us and donations will be quickly processed and passed to charities.
