Story
My name is Adam Lynch and I am a 22 year old who lives in Hertford and I have Autism, Dyspraxia and Moderate Learning Difficulties. Having played basketball for East Herts Chiefs & Special Olympics Eastern Region for 4 years, I am delighted to have been selected in Great Britain’s basketball squad for the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi in March’19. This is a self funded event and I need to raise £2,500 to allow me to participate. I would greatly appreciate any donations that will allow me to achieve my ultimate dream of representing my country.

6 years agoWith offline donations, and £1,000 fund matching from HSBC, I am delighted to confirm that I have passed though my £2,500 target. This enables me to take my place on Great Britain's Special Olympics Basketball team in Abu Dhabi in March 2019. Thank you so much to everybody for your amazing efforts and generosity.

6 years agoHello everyone. Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to me so far. It is very much appreciated. I am going away later on my 2nd training weekend with the Special Olympics Great Britain basketball squad in Sheffield. Although it is going to be a hard weekend of training, I know I am going to have a lot of fun and I am thoroughly enjoying the experience of representing GB. I am getting nearer now to reaching my target but any more donations would be gratefully appreciated.
