We hope to be able to convert our garage and room behind it to create a semi-independent self contained living space for a young person 16+ who is transitioning out of the care system and towards independent living. Our background in social care allows us to be able to acknowledge the needs of young people as they leave the care system. We aim to offer a comfortable standard of accomodation with our support in conjunction with the Local Authority.

We hope to offer life skills help in preparation for independence.

Costs for this venture include architectural plans, change of use of building and full renovation of the room and garage. On the plus side the garage area contains gas electricity and running water already.
