    Story

salisbury hospice is a place for the terminally ill, not only do they provide physical help they also provide the ill and their families with emotional help.

Not too long ago a very close family friend sadly passed away from terminal cancer. Louisa (which was her name) has always been a massive part in my life, she was always the second mum that you have. The best friends mum. She had been battling cancer for quite some time and no matter how hard or how painful it got she always had a smile on her face, She was such an inspiration to me and many others. Lousia always had this light in her and had the best sense of humour, she always knew how to make people smile when they’d had a bad day which means she was just the type of person that everyone would love being around.

From a very young age her family and mine were very close, we’d go out for days out in southampton, bournemouth etc and go on a massive shopping spree, we spent new years eve together for as long as i can remember.

After finding out she had cancer for the second time in three years was devistating, she’d have good days and bad days but where she was such an amazing, stron women she kept pushing on, she never once gave up and no matter how hard things got she always kept positive and had a smile on her face. Lousia will forever be loved and missed, she truely touched many peoples lives 💜

Whilst she was going through all of this Salisbiry hopspice helped out a lot, they always made sure she was comfortable and well looked after. The hospice do a lot for many terminally ill people and from what we knew about when lousia was there, they did all they could to ensure she was well looked after. So im doing this page to raise as much money for them as possible so they can keep doing their wonderful work and provide patients with the help they need.

On the 3rd of april i‘ll be shaving my head in front of everyone at my sixth form and on the day after me and many others will be holding a cake sale to ensure as much money is raised as possible. we’ll be wearing salisbury hospice charity tops.

I have been thinking about wearing a wig after my hair starts to grow back. I came across an amazing shop called ‘ the hair exstention cave’, the manager named Molly cooke runs an amazing buisness that she helps a lot of cancer patients and people with alopecia out with getting the best type of wigs/exstentions for them. To know more follow her facebook page ‘The hair exstention cave’, She sells some amazing hair pieces and wigs.
