Story
Aimé is 14 and this year is going to cycle the full 60 Miles within the Manchester to Blackpool in aid of Tameside Fibromyalgia Warriors to raise money for the group. Aimé's Mum, Jeni, suffers badly with Fibromyalgia and runs the local Support group in Tameside to help people that are affected with the illness, including friends and family.
The fantastic Manchester to Blackpool ride is a very popular event with cyclists of all abilities. The route covers 60 miles from Manchester, with lots of refreshment stops along the scenic country lanes of Lancashire, and finishes on the South Promenade in Blackpool. The Christie charity team will welcome you over the finish line, then join your friends and families with food, beer tent, live music and a well-earned massage.
The Manchester to Blackpool Bike Ride will take part on Sunday 8th July and the group will be at the finish line to cheer her on. Aimé is hoping to raise £200 for the group and has already started training.
Updates of her progress will be posted here, in the Facebook Event and on the website here >> www.fibro-warriors.co.uk/aimesridetoblackpool
