My brother Kevin had a fall down his stairs at home this resulted in him breaking his neck in two places and pinched his spinal nerve at the base of his spine.

As if this wasnt bad enough Kevin then had to have an operation to fix his broken neck but nothing could be done for the spine injury which has resulted in him having no feelings from the waist down.

Kevin has been in hospital since the end of October 2017 and is still having to have another operation to fit a pump in behind the stomach which will pump fluid through his spine to stop the severe spasms with his hands and legs this will take place on the 21/05/2018.

The reason for this page is to raise funds for an all terrian electric wheelchair as kevin has two dogs at home which he loves taking out for long walks and this would allow him to still do this also needs a disibilty bed for easy access and maintaining his recovery and physiotherapy.

Kevin has served with the Army for 9yrs in 4th Field Regiment who loved boxing, football and going to the gym, he has always loved sport and continues to support his local league football Consett and a season ticket holder for Newcastle United and the wheechair will allow his independance to still carry out what he loves to do.
