My Daughter, Laura, has been encouraged to take over the running of a local art group in our home town of Wallsend, North Tyneside, after the previous organiser had to give it up. They meet once a week on Wednesday afternoons and more people are starting to attend, and to learn how to paint and draw as people help each other. This has become a valuable social outlet to some of the elderly members who only manage to get out once a week to attend the group. We need some funding to keep the group going, otherwise we will be in danger of closing. We will be grateful for any contributions, which will be well spent on the materials we need.
