After working in IT for many years, I came to a point in 2017 where I was no longer feeling any gratitude for the work I did. Struggling with health issues and personal problems at home it became a real struggle for me. During that time, my personal life took a huge turn due to the health issues and I had to make some big decisions and make changes. I had to sell my home of 12 years to get rid of the huge mortgage I was struggling with, pay off all debts I had built up and moved to a new town for a new start. My life improved immediately and I was suddenly finding myself drawn to Spiritual, Holistic and Natural Therapy. From a very young age I always had some sort of psychic gift, but never connected with it seriously. Being a confirmed Empath and sufferer with Depression and M.E Chronic Fatigue, I didn't find life smooth sailing until I had my Awakening in 2018. Firstly, I trained as a Reiki (Usui ) Therapist and decided I wanted to pursue the Health and Healing career to help others also find healthy Mind and Body and personal Peace. The signs and synchronicities just got stronger and uncanny by the day. In early 2018, I was then receiving a calling through various messages and sharing the positive guidance I was receiving with others. To that I was guided towards reading Tarot, Oracle/Angel cards and realising that I have a gift and there is a lot of peace and healing in the affirmations and advise channelled through me from the Universe, Spirit, God, (whichever one chooses to call it). I just suddenly had such enthusiasm to share with everyone my experience and what I have come to realise about life’s journey but more importantly about myself. During that time I was still working full time in IT but the Chronic Fatigue and depression took its toll on me. In Dec 2018, I just could not do the work anymore , 5 hours travel a day, a toxic environment at work with bullying and micro-management and I was guided by my intuition that I had a higher calling to do something for the greater good and something had to change quickly so in Dec 2018 I walked into work and quit my job. This was not done lightly, It was my Health over my Wealth. I just couldn't do it any more, I was exhausted and very low. Suffering with M.E ( Chronic Fatigue) has taken it toll on my working life, so Its very difficult for me to work 40 hours a week and sit in an office, travel there and back etc. I needed to make the decision for my own good.Taking that leap of faith was scary but liberating and made me realise that we can do whatever we want to if we want or need it badly enough. We manifest our own dreams by our own thoughts and affirmations. It takes work though, we don’t get it for free. Today I am a better version of myself and feel very positive about my future. However success comes with its challenges. I want to help others get the stage on their Journey where they are content with life, Health, Mind, Body and Self, whilst enjoying the experience along the way. So as I was qualified in Reiki Therapy and found my new gift, it was a sign and I set up my own Business "Awakenings" Mind Body & Spirit , whilst claiming from the government on the NEA scheme ( National Enterprise). This allows us to start up a business whilst getting Universal Credit. This is why I have set up this Fundraiser.

I offer Reiki Healing, 45-50 mins of energy healing through my hands to help with stresses, worries, tensions, muscle, joints, general wellbeing or just in need of a cleanse of the chakras

I also offer Intuitive Tarot, Oracle and Angel card readings for Love, Life, Twin Flames or just positivity messages to help you stay attuned with life and what's happening in the here and now. This includes any advisory coaching that I feel I can share with you if you so need it. So over to my reasons for crowd funding:

The council have told me to wait until I get evicted before they can house me, otherwise I am not priority so that means I will never rent again with an eviction on my record. Currently any money I get for living from UC is being sent to the landlord to top of the shortfall on the rent because the government will only pay half so I do not want to be in arrears and get evicted. ( see my image below) It doesn't matter where I live, I will not have enough to pay rent, the government pay whatever they think you are entitled to based on what you live in. Getting evicted from my home is not what I had in mind especially with the Chronic Fatigue which is fuelled by Stress, and Mental Health issues which I have worked so hard for years to keep under control, hence my business idea and whilst I am working hard to get the business up and running, we all know it takes more than a few posts on social media to get noticed and generate an income overnight. I need business cards, memberships , monthly subscription fees etc and just cannot get a first leg up. Every time my money comes in, a bill goes out or the rent . Oh and if I get a part time job, they deduct that off my living benefits so its a lose -lose situation. Recently I was advised to appeal to others who may understand ,and set up a Crowd Fund page.

I know there are people out there who know me and would like to support me if they could and I know there are total strangers with very kind hearts also, So I am asking for any small donations to help me along the way. Everybody starts somewhere right?. I understand the current economy and the state of the country ( Shhh dont mention Brexit !) so will be over-welmed by any response I may get. At least with all this worry, It takes my mind off Brexit :-)))) I have set my donation target at a max of 500.00 to cover my costs of :

Memberships such as the Reiki Federation, £95.00 The practitioners Federation ( I cannot get insurance as a practitioner without being a member of these) .My venue costs ( variable) to carry out my Reiki Services and my Mindfulness Workshops, Marketing, Business Cards ( £20-50) and any other related Business requirements. In the meantime I will be looking for alternative living arrangements for me but in my own time without pressure without rushing and stress free but who knows what's around the corner, I may not need to.
