    Story

I am a Cadet Sergeant in the RAFAC, and some other cadets and I are planning to complete the Great North Run 2019 in full uniform, carrying 20-30kg Bergen backpacks, for charity.

Some of the money will go to our squadron to help support us in the various activities we do in the community, and so that we can keep providing incredible experiences for local youths. The rest will go to a charity called Who Dares Cares, which provides help for veterans and civilians with PTSD.

All of us who plan to do the biggest half marathon in the world are under the age of 18, so it should be a real challenge. But we think it's worth it.

If you could help even a tiny bit, please do. Thanks.

I am a Sergeant in the RAFAC, aiming to be a Reserve Paratrooper in the British Army. I care passionately about helping veteran charities and youth organisations up and down the country, because I believe it is vital that we both support the old, and develop the new.
