Little Britain anglers are a small community fishing club who want to clean up the Manchester, Bury and Bolton canal, the river Irwell and the surrounding area. We are trying to improve the habitats for local birdlife which includes swans, mallard Ducks and King Fishers plus many other types of birds, insects and Plant life. We are also hoping to put up bird nest boxes and bat boxes on the trees surrounding the canals and River Irwell. Not only will this benefit the local wildlife but will also be a much nicer area for the local community to enjoy.
