I believe that everyone should have a bed to sleep on and a place to call home.

As an interior designer and a business owner, I am able to buy furniture at a discounted rate and I want to use this ability to help furnish homes for people who are moving on from emergency housing.

Please help me to provide these families with basic essentials - it’s not their fault that they find themselves in this situation and there’s usually always children involved.

I'm not making any money from this for myself, I just know I can help in this situation and I don't want to stand by and do nothing.

I have worked out that I will need £1600 to furnish a two bed flat with the following basic items:

Children's room:

Cabin bed including drawers, desk and shelves. Mattress. Wardrobe.

Adult's room:

Wardrobe. Chest of drawers. Bedside cabinet. Double bed.Mattress.

Living area:

2 seater sofa. Armchair. Table with 4 chairs. TV unit.

This does not include white goods, electricals, bedding, soft furnishings accessories or home decoation - but if you are interested in donating such items then please get in touch.

If i can do this for just one family it will make a huge difference.

In the future, I would like to offer this provision for as many families as possible as they leave emergency accomodation and try to rebuild their lives.
