Story
A new challenge has been set - it's a long one. I've signed up, along with friends, Claire and Jacqui, for the Women V Cancer London to Paris Bike Ride next September.
It is what it says in the title...ride your bike from London to Paris ( the Eiffel Tower no less), 240 miles over 3 days...mmm...a lot of miles and an awful lot of saddle time!
My new world of road biking and the precarious use of "clippy" pedals has been a 'challenge' in itself but the money I would love to raise in support of Breast Cancer, Jo's Cervical Cancer Charity and Ovarian Cancer is worth so much more.
It's for the women I know, the women I don't know and the growing daughters' I have and I would be very, very grateful for any support in raising funds.
