4 weeks ago my friend finally decided to leave her husband! In respect i will not go into details ! This brave lady had no where to go and was prepared to even sleep in a cell at the police station she works! I could not allow this to happen and paid for a hotel for my beautiful friend, knowing she would be safe! My friend was very scared and put her trust in me to help her! On the Monday my friend went into a refuge, until we could find a suitable home for her and her daughter.

Last Sunday my friend was rushed into Queens Medical Hospital with stomach pains, after several calls between my friend and i, the final call was to say she had cancer, at this point i did not know exactly what was going on and rushed over to the QMC to speak to my friend.

My friend has learning difficulties and a speech impediment, so it can be very hard for her to understand !

After speaking to the Doctors on what is going to happen ie treatment etc! To be told their is no cure for my friend, the cancer has spread around her body.

As you can imagine this was such a shock, knowing just 24hours previous on being addmitted to hospital, my friend had no illness or symptoms prior !

My friend is refusing to except this and has asked me not to tell her daughter! All week i have been trying to sort out finacial help and support for my beautiful friend & her daughter! My friend has a beautiful best friend who is also supporting her and the two of us are totally heartbroken. We do not know exactly how long my friend has to live, but what i do know, is after seeing them both yesterday, they are both looking forward to christmas day alone together! If i can help raise some money to stop my friend worrying about money ! Bless her she was even worrying about leaving the heating on in her home, because of the cost!

I would be forever grateful for the smallest amount of a donation and support, just knowing and praying these genuine beautiful people can have a christmas day full of memories and find some peace through this heartbreaking news!
