in July I am travelling to Kenya for 4 weeks to carry out voluntary work With camps international . In order for me to go I have to raise £4000 to fund the trip, as well as the money for my visas , vaccinations and kit . During these 4 weeks I will be staying in a number of villages living as the locals do and carrying out any tasks that the villagers need in order to make their lives a little better . This can include digging trenches , general repairs to the local school and houses (mud huts) , repairing school desks , cleaning rubbish off the beaches to make just a few . This is a great oppertrinity for me to experience how they live but also give something back to those less fortunate than me . I have already raised £3000 towards the fee by carrying out sponsored events , cake sales ,babysitting , car washing and selling sweets . Any donation no matter how small would be gratefully received. During these 4 weeks I will be living as the locals do so in basic accommodation , no internet or phone , and basic sanitary conditions
