Our lovely amazing mum has been fighting with Multiple Sclerosis, now for over 20 years. meaning that her day to day living has been turned upside down. MS is a chronic degenerative disease where the immune system attacks the brain causing an array of disabilities and there is currently no cure. Our mum struggles to walk properly as her legs are weak and she drags her weak leg a lot as she hasn't the power to lift it the same. Mum depends on a wheelchair when going anywhere that requires walking a distance she uses her walking stick to get about the house. Mum struggles and puts a brave face on and fights everyday with the love and support from my dad.He is strong and does what he can for mum and is always there to help. Her MS has progressively worsened onto secondary progressive MS. Currently there isn't a drug they can try that will work for mum, which is frustrating for us all, we would love to see mum get a boost. With lots of stumbles day to day and with a few leading to falls. Recently we decided to get mum the cbd oil to try, as a family we will try anything that will hopefully help mum get a boost. As many people know this oil has been proven to help people in a massive way, its heartbreaking that they will not make this on prescription. When it has proven to work and help. Myself and my sister have decided after doing several fundraisers to raise funds for MS society is to crowdfund and sponsor to raise money for mum & dad to do something, either toward the cbd oil or even a weekend break away. This can be difficult as they take each day as it comes as not everyday is the same, she has good days and bad.
