My son Dominic, 17 year's old is part of a local Dragon Boating club in Stockton called Powerhouse. Dominic has been training with the club for 3 year's. He has competed in National BDA competitions during his time with the club. In September 2017 he was given a great opportunity to train with the GB U18 coaches & has been working even harder. Last weekend he trialled for the GB U18 Dragonboat Squad & he was lucky enough to be chosen for the squad. Dominic will continue to train over the coming months with the GB squad. He will travel to Thailand on 12th August to paddle for the GB U18 Dragonboating Squad. It will cost approximately £2,000 to get him to Thailand, all of which we have to fund ourselves, we are hoping you can support Dominic on his GB journey.
