My name is Amelia and after attending two selection camps I have been selected to represent Essex as part of the UK contingent at the World Scout Jamboree 2019 in West Virginia. I am very excited!

This is an amazing experience for me to be part of the largest scouting event worldwide where 45,000 young people from over 200 countries gather together to take part in a programme following the four core values of adventure, service, sustainibility and leadership. And of course making new friends from around the world.

In order for me to attend this incredible event I need to raise a large sum of £3,800 to support my journey to jamboree and that of scouts from the less developed world who would not be able to attend otherwise. I am going to try and do a wide variety of fundraising events over the next year so please help me where you can. Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it. Amelia x
