I'm planning a trip to Africa this summer to volunteer in an African school, it's organised by a company called VESAbroad. I need to raise £2000 to allow this to happen.
The volunteer work includes working with children in schools and crèches teaching English and basic , hygiene and nutrition through games and activities. Volunteers will also renovate and revitalise the sometimes run-down facilities with fresh coats of paint, new play equipment and the construction of bathrooms or kitchens.
Schools in South Africa rely on help from other countries to give children the valuable opportunity of learning.
