my name is Amy I am 24yrs old. I am a full time wheelchair user due to having cerebral palsy on my left hand side. I then devloped startle epilepsy When i was 2 and half year old. The condition means that when I’m surprised or startled, for example by a loud noise, I can have a short seizure. When I have a seizure It can happen two or three times a day sometimes at night my body jerks out on one side. As a result it means I have become very isolated. I rely on my wheelchair to be able to get around and out. My wheelchair is my legs. have had my current chair for 15yrs, im starting to lose my independences because the chair is slowly breaking so I have to ask for help to get around and I would like my Independence back as you can imagine after 15yrs of 24/7 use my chair is in a bad way! As I am unable to work and there is no help offered from the government at the age I am I need to find other ways to fund purchasing a new chair. I would be so very grateful if you could consider helping me with a donation to wards the funds With our great raffle, or just a little donationation would be very kind.
