In August 2019 our wonderful friend Amy is getting married to her fiance Chris. You could not hope to meet a more perfect couple who are incredibly well suited, not least for their kindness and generosity towards everyone they meet. As their close friends, their wedding will certainly be a day we will never forget.

Unfortunately, Amy has been diagosed with various debilitating health conditions, which have progressively become worse over the last few years. This has had a huge impact on her ability to walk unaided, and has prevented her from enjoying the life of a healthy woman in her 20s.

Amy has never allowed her conditions to define her, and has never asked for special treatment. She is always a happy, positive person to be around and spend time with, and is always giving her time and love to friends and family despite her constant pain and fatigue.

Her strength and resiliance have always been incredibly inspirational to us, and we want to do something to acknowledge how special she is. We know how important her wedding day is to her, especially as we are aware that her conditions will get progressively worse, and therefore her wedding needs to be a huge day of positivity and celebration.

Amy’s dream would be to be able to walk down the ailse on her wedding day unaided, and we would like to raise money to pay for a physiotherapist to help to make her dream come true.

Any contribution - big or small - would be hugely appreciated by all of Amy’s family and friends and would go a very long way to help make this wedding magical.
