Dear All,

Thanks for looking at my Fund raising page. I'm wanting to raise some much needed funds to support the Cystic Fibrosis ward at Leicester's Glenfield Hospital. The ward supported a very dear friend, Laura Piertryx, who on the 9th March tragically was taken from us.after fighting CF for 38 years. As you can imagine, we were heartbroken to loose such an influential and brilliant young lady. For many years the ward supported her CF treatment and continues to offer essential care and rest bite from this terrible and incurable disease. I want to raise money directly for the ward to go towards the vital day to day care.

So, the challenge (I always said i like a challenge!)

Cycle from Lands End in Cornwall to John O'Groats in Scotland. Essentially the whole length of the British Isles. In 9 days! over 900 miles, around 100 miles per day. This will be probably be the toughest physical and Mental Challenge I have taken on and the fills me, if I'm honest, with fear!

I will be completing with friends, fully funded by myself (100% of this Just Giving page with go to the CF Ward)

Every Pound I can raise will be much appreciated.
