    Story

    Hi everyone.

Meet Millie, our beautiful big white Labrador.

We bought her from Battersea Dogs & Cats home 2 years ago, where she wasn’t in great health.

She wasn’t looked after properly by her previous owner, and was at a weight of 42KG!!! That weight would be heavy for a male Labrador!

We, and Millie, have done really well getting the weight off, she loves her walks very much.

However, her being overweight and not exercised by previous owner has not helped because at some stage arthritis in her hind legs began. Even with her extra weight gone, she can now not get out and get the vital exercise she needs.

That is why she now needs a wheelchair. Millies front legs are great and we want her to still be able to use them for walking, but we understand that she’s old and so even the front legs may give way in the future.

I have seen a wheelchair on Amazon that has fixed back wheels but dettachable front wheels. That would be perfect.

I hooe you can find it in your heart to help our Millie.

    Thank you.
